How to Report the Police

Report the Police keeps the names of victims of police brutality or violence out in the public. We need to keep a record of the people so we get a bigger picture of how often people are assaulted by the police.

The police is here to Serve and Protect and not Assault and Cover-Up.

If you have been assaulted by the police or you have witnessed someone being assaulted by a police officer you need to report it. The more the police get reported and held accountable the more they will think twice about assaulting someone in the future.

This website will help:
1) Document the unfair, unauthorized and illegal beating and killing of people by law enforcement. In Canada a large percentage of people assaulted by the police are Indigenous and in the USA a large percentage are African-American. Having a place that documents these illegal actions will result in a change in police behavior.

2) This site will report as much data as it gets but not all assaults get reported on or appear in the news. If you know of a police beating, please let us know. If the data doesn't become public then this problem will continue.
